OK that brooch grrrrrrrrr......To be totally honest I'm not happy putting it into any "type" category, it has a few oddities that make it a little weird but Hattatt 438B is where I would slot it on the fashion timeline and so around 130 AD Wink

Thanks for the id on the brooch its a early ish one then, its a shame the coins are so far gone it would of been nice to date them... im expecting the Romans to have been near this site earlier tho, as there is a iron age hill fort in the woods, nothing of that era is ever found tho on the farm land around.
