Been looking at the 150 for a starter unit.

I'm hearing they are not much good for working on wet sand...why ?.

The Garett Ace 150 and 250 both get false signals on the wet sand. Some people have success with them if the sensitivity is turned down but you end up losing depth.
    Check out YOUTUBE for videos on how to set the ACE for wet sand.

The 150 and 250 are more or less the same. I have both.

Yes ive seen a few of the garret beach vids.

I think i would rather lose some depth and have it set up right than not have the option to search on wet sand.
