I have had all 3

First an ETrac - super machine, great for beach work as well as inland. But the weight killed me. Tried it with a harness, could not get on with it and at the end of the day my arm and bad back ached. So it had to go.

Then had a T2 SE super light machine, but my bad back still ached and boy was it chatty and not good on the beach. So recently sold this.

Just bought a Deus went out for the first time on the weekend with it. Lovely piece of kit, super, super light no aches finally. Smiley Did also try it for a couple of hours down the beach a bit skitty on wet sand but some dry sand it seemed ok. Early days yet need to play with both the dry sand and wet sand settings to make it work better. At the end of the day it's a single frequency machine it won't match the likes of the multi frequency ones like the ETrac on the beach but if weight is your issue as it was for me then this is the one to go for.

Good luck in your choice, all great machines but the Deus would be me first choice for the weight issue alone.
