Went out for a few hours Friday on some stubble. This area has always produced whenever I'm there Wink I know there's at least 1 roman in the picture which offcourse is the denarius whatevers left of it id would be great. Now the surf board looking thing I have 2 of these and never asked what it was but now I've found a second im curious. Oh did i mention I hoovered another piece off hammered up  Wink

I'd need some more pics of the front and back to be sure but although it looks a bit thin your "surfboard" type item looks alot like a catch plate and stem from a Roman broach Huh
How big is your silver "Roman"? can you do a pic of it next to a coin for scale? Wink
