This is from Ben from Ross on Wye farm can we please give him  advice.
I have been looking at cabinets to store the finds in, most of them are pine or mahogany - I have asked a chap to commission an oak one, he is happy to do it but thinks the tannin in the oak may taint the metal - have you any thoughts, it's just our whole house is oak based and I would like it to fit in on display

My coin collection is not housed properly yet as id rather buy a coin than a expensive cabinet, but iv been told make sure its mahogany, as its low in oils and resin.
