I was just  thinking, I found the soil in the Ross rally quite sandy and as it was wet, does that mean that detectors that have a problem with wet sand on beaches also have a problem with wet
sandy soil ? Or am I missing something

Here's a link to the Ross geology info about the red sandstone. Laid down 400 million years ago south of the equator.  Shocked
