i done about 2 hrs along the  on the old track, i found my first ever bag seal well i found 2 but lost one.
the thing next to the seal is a button it did have the hoop on it but if broke off, there is writing on the inside but cant make it out.

There is a stubble field that looks good on the farm, will be giving it a go on Saturday.

There was a mint here in Aberystwyth so I would say there is a good chance of a nice find' there is an old building at the top of the hill near the stubble field' the farmer said it was used to store gunpowder and other types of explosives away from the town' I am not sure if it will be safe to detect around this.

Hi Al,  I guess you are off round that magazine, watch out for things that go bang. Some good looking finds there, it'll all start popping out for you, it's like magic. Have a good day
