The inscription is part of:

Si Deus Nobis Cum, Quis Contra Nos? (If God is with us, who can be against us?’ – Romans 8.31).

Cockerel badges are usually secular, but the religious inscription appears to indicate otherwise with this item.

Can we see the back please?

Do you remember if the back is flat or are there any fixings?

I've just realised the size of this - I guess it's too big to be a badge, so maybe a decorative mount of some sort?

From what I remember Doc, The back is an impressed shape of the front and I don't think, that there were any fixings, I know that  it was silver as I tested it for Mark.I'ts been with Mark Lodwick
since early last year I think.
