Nice coin - I think that the 1/4 nobles are really nice. Give it a light wash in water - they come up really nice Smiley

Its a hard one hammerroid but here is a little info for you..... the Reverse Legend reads EXALTABITUR IN GLORIA - He shall be exalted in glory......... also there is a pellet in the center of the reverse, this will help with the id.
Its the Obverse I cant really work out? it don't look as if there is anything above, below or beside the Royal arms, also like the example probono has shown, that's why I am thinking Ed 3rd, but the more I look, the more I see HENRIC??

Whats the Doc think? Wink

I think that a quick clean to get the mud off it will certainly help - at the moment much of the legend is a bit obscured - I'll see if I find a reverse image tomorrow.

Still, it's a very nice thing to find - I certainly wouldn't be complaining whoever it is Smiley Smiley Smiley
