Minelab Quattro. Did,nt know wether to get a Quattro or a Explorer. Bought the Quattro cos it was cheaper but i loved the blue colour rather than the white explorer. Loved it ever since.

I use my xp goldmaxx mk1 on plough and stubble great in between Iron adx 250 for pasture and common quattro for wet sand pasture and common laser powermax2 general coin shooting and dry sand Roll Eyes mole

looks like the Minelabs are the most popular imparticular the Explorer i think this was my reason for getting one.

Id say 80% of my club (RARE) use Explorers i dont think their good i just wanted to have the same toy as the other Boys lol

i think people have worked out minelab only want your money. the e-trac is turning out to be a right lemon there's loads for sale on the forums' and the new x-terras are nothing more than a rehash of the old terras.

Hi
I use the SAFARI with 15x12 sef coil,Ive not had chance to have much detecting and still getting used to it,from what I have heard I believe it to be a good all round detector although Ive not mastered it yet, also I cant  rate it on the beach as not been beach detecting at all, so when the winter comes anyone that goes beach detecting I would very much appreciate tagging along with someone and give it a go .

i use a minelab explorer xs have got an 6 inch 8 inch coil. and 15 inch sef coil exellent machines use to use a fisher? Grin

mine is the explorer xs ive had a few diff ones in the past with good results xlt (dfx) fisher (explorer 11)then back to the xs i think its all bull s--t to be frank so stick to what you know and look after your money its about time we detectorists got wise to these pepole whats a inch or two regards phil Wink
