I tend to find control box water proof covers "obstruct" my view in Bright sunny conditions. So i don`t use one.
 Thats fine until it rains.
But my get out of Jail free card is this.
Next time you go to Asda or Tesco, Etc.
Either grab a couple of the clear plazzy bags that you can pull off the counter for the Green grocery Dept in the Supermarket and slip them in with your Grapes or carrots or Pinch a couple of your medium sized Freezer bags and carry a few in the boot of your car ready to stick one in your pocket next time you go tecting. If or when it starts raining. Just slip the clear plazzy bag over your control box and wrap the open end shut with a bit of a tied knot untill the rain stops. Then Rip the bag off and hey presto your control box is nice n dry .

Hi Jeb

Another good tip ;0)

I use Asdas small Sandwich bags 60 in a box its fits the explorer very snuggly
Looking at the E-trak i think the Control box is a bit bigger so they wont fit

All the best

Yeah, i don`t think it matters what bags are used as long as they Do cover the entire Control box. Hence once you have tried a few ,there`s always one size will fit .
I`ve even been out tecting and got caught without a waterproof Coat . So ,knowing i had a Black bin bag in the car boot, i just made a hole just big enough for my head to go through and arms in the sides and slipped that over my body .
It don`t LOOK priddy, but its a adequate temp ` ,get me out of trouble fixer.

LoL The dreaded Gnats n Mozzies Eh ?
If i know i`m going to a place where knats or Mozzies are . I squeeze a fresh lemon and stick the juice in a small container and take it with me.
I then dab the juice on my exposed skin such as face ,neck & hands . This keeps the little blighters away i find.
