I know we do this every year, but on my Detecting Wish List for the forthcoming year will be:

Bronze Age palstave axe head (complete please)
Medieval personal seal matrix (decipherable please)
Gothic Florin (found loads of florins but never a gothic or godless one)
Roman or Celtic woad grider (finding both pestel and mortar type parts please)
Flint arrow head (preferably barbed and tanged and from South Wales)

I have little chance of any of these, buts its nice to live in hope!

Whats going to be on your list?

Happy New Year
Neil
Saxon gold coin or Medieval and both on the same day will be quite acceptable , thank you, oh and preferably this year Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Saxon, Roman and Medieval gold coins would be nice but I'm not as greedy as Paul so I don't mind waiting a day or two between each Cheesy
On a more humble note....a hammy from the commonwealth period has always escaped me so do have those pesky jews harps Wink
