Sorry im afraid me ( cut/half ) and hammerrhoid will not be able to attend the old sodbury rally this weekend as something has come up. We have removed our names from list and we wish everyone who's going a very lucky weekend  Smiley .
Best of luck to everyone going and we hope to see you all on the next Detectingwales.com rally.
All the best

I have never received a newsletter e-mail since I joined. The correct e-mail address is on the system because I get notifications of threads I'm subscribed to  Huh

I've checked my spam folder too.

I've never received one, nor has my husband tonytrees. Since there seems to be an issue with the receipt of the newsletter, is it worth setting up a library folder for old and new newsletters , so all that it needed is an announcement on the main page that the newsletter is now available to be read? Everyone can then access it in their own time. Just a suggestion....

Hi, just to say that I don't get a newsletter either.
I knew the rally was cancelled because of other members

I don't know what the fuss is about e-mails, when you log-on to the DW site then go to 'HOME' you would see the postponement notice.

I don't think anyone is making a fuss. It was pointed out that e-mail notification of the postponement went out to all members who had signed up to the rally. Also that there is a regular newsletter to all members of DW. As I have never received any newsletter nor the postponement notification I thought it a good idea to say so in case there was something amiss. Turns out there is as there are others who don't get these mailings.

I do not have the free time to regularly check DW's homepage in case of an important announcement so an e-mail would be an ideal way for me to be informed of important news re. DW or DW rallies.

We have never seen a newsletter, didn't know such a beast existed. We checked site as common sense told us it would probably be postponed but we had no notification via email, not even Staffs test one on 5 Jan. Looking forward to this Sunday tho weather permitting.
