Sorry to hear your going to two on the same day, I'd choose this one if I were you, the history looks great, but then only you know where you want to go.

Better toss a coin.  all the best mate

Ah well these things happen, asked my B&B hotel if they would change my booking to the following week, I await their reply and hope there are no additional charges, but this is my hobby and they are the chances we take.
On a plus though for my wife, I was given "permission" to stay out overnight and then go detecting all day and to keep the peace I promised to buy her a little gift..... Cost me £118 for two tickets to see II Divo, now that's commitment... Cheesy I am sure I can get a pass out again now a few times this year, LOL. See you next week then.

Yeah. I have someone relying on me for a lift to one rally.
And someone else relying on me for a lift to the other rally.
I will let them decide. I will leave it to the last minute to see if one of them pulls out.
Unlike some, I always make sure that I can make it before I sign for a rally and have never had to pull out of one.
Til now............

Ha, thanks for the offer, just checked with the wife and she politely declined. Best £118 I have spent in my book, peace and harmony if you know what I mean

get to have a chat with other members very often and get to see their finds which is one of the best parts of rallies for me.

I'll second that Beefy ! It's great to go to rallies for the oportunity to try detecting on different type of land, but I'd say the main reason why I attend the rallies is for the social life. To bump into other mad detectorists and have a natter about finds, gear etc and to get some good advice from those experienced guys. DW rallies are always a good day out for me, no matter if I find anything or not. I always look forward to the next one.

Just had confirmation through from the accommodation I had arranged for this Saturday that they have changed my night to the following Saturday at no additional cost. Nice one in this day and age when others are trying to squeeze every available penny from your pocket. Made my day now, its doesn’t take much....  Grin
