[/img]found this the other day on a beach some kind of stud its around 10mmx10mm in size any thoughts what it might be thanks.

Only thing I can think of is it might be the top of a ships nail that has worn through and broken off.
Amazing what turns up. Part of the enjoyment of detecting is pondering over 'what is it'.
