Its a 100yrs since the start of the Great War in 1914 and i am sure there will be services to the huge number of young lads who never came back..I hope to put on a display in my local social history museum of finds from that period..My grandfather served as a regular soldier before the Great War and fought in the trenches till he became 46yrs .......Then he was sent to guard the Internment camp at Knockaloe farm ,where 23 thousand prisoners were held...The Turkish and German prisoners were great craftsman and we have a wonderfull display of there craftsmanship...
