Cheers Will, I think that I will stick with v2 until they get everything right. Couldn't do with lugging an E trac around !

Yeah, bit much carrying an e trac and pockets full of hammered coins to digs  Wink Grin

hotmill what issues were you having with the V3.1 ?

cracking signals on iron of all sizes, regardless of depth, very 'chattery' on all programmes regardless of ground type or ground balance selected, depth indicator way out. For some reason since downloading the update its more stable, the tones are more 'positive' just feels like my old Deus before V3.1.

depth indicator way out ?

What do you mean by depth indicator ?

display indicating item to be shallow where in fact it was very deep. Have you been experiencing problems yourself?

Don’t ask

Poor discrimination
Poor tones
Non ferrous at depth giving iron tones.

I’m one of the moaners that keep getting the versions updated  Grin

Maybe they have finally got it right this time

Sounds like the problems I had. I did try the new version last night for 3 hours on pasture and it was significantly better, I'm trying it out tonight on a recently ploughed field that I had real problems with on Monday night when still using V3.1. If its better tonight then I'll be happier.

Did 3 hours on the ploughed field tonight using V3.2. Detector is a lot better, seems to have sorted out the issues I had, happy to say I'll stick with V3.2 for now or until V3.3 comes out  Grin
