I thought you might like to see an unusual coin i found on a club dig on Sunday.
Its a 7.2 candareens from Kwang tung province and dates from 1880-1908.
How it ended up on a ploughed field near the welsh border is anybodys guess.

Hi John

A very unsual Find and like you said how it ended up there is a mystery
Why would someone have such a coin on them then decide to either throw it or accidently loose it

Really like the coin John - well found. I am presuming its silver due to its condition.

Great find

I found a similar one a few years back, John. I gave Roy all my artefacts and coins.  Angry
