Hi all,

couple things here from a new field (undetected).

Both seem to be a copper alloy, the almost like `tweezer` object is very hard and filed all over.
Maybe it was slightly longer at the ends !

Thoughts anyone..

Ade.

Nice going, your "tweezers" are a Jews harp (musical instrument) and the pendant is part of a sword hanger, both probably post medieval. Wink Wink

Hello
There could be a chance that they may be tweezers?Ive found two in the past and being able to get a  tune out of a Jews harp I couldnt get a note out of the ones I found.Taking into account the Jews harp I have is very thin steel and Iff you missplace it onto your teeth it hurts. The ones dug up are thicker iron.Bearing in mind the populations teeth back then were iff not bad or nilll then how did they play them? You would need teeth like Sherrgarh or other missfortunate people just to get a single note?
I think this item should be re investigated.Just my opinon ,Back to the wine
Cheers

You only hold it in your teeth, why would it hurt Huh Dental health wasn't always bad, Sugar was only for the rich and no chocolate back then mind.
Have a look here, you have over 200 to choose from Wink

Thanks again Chef.

Ended up being evicted by the dairy cows today. Don`t trust them see (used to live on a farm).

Was in the hot spot at the time, hope to go back again this weekend..

Looking at roman tweezers and modern tweezers they haven't changed much in almost 2000 years.
I suppose you could try a making a bit of music while plucking your eyebrows with a jews harp

I'm not sure if two hands would be enough, you may need someone to pluck you.......................I said pluck! Roll Eyes
