An interesting day today. The recently ploughed field was very slow going, but these 2 finds cropped up.

the first is a lead object about a centimetre length. I think its a seal of sorts, but would welcome another opinion. The second is a fragment of a roman nummus, probably 4th century. But if anyone can provide a better ID, it will be very welcome.

cheers for looking
