They say be careful what you wish for. Well looks like we got it. Rain, rain, rain, and more rain. And we're going to have a bit more rain right through till tomorrow lunch time according to the forecast.
And just to make life a bit more interesting, guess who left the windows down in the car yesterday.? Shocked Roll Eyes
Well I s'pose if I get bored I could have a soak in the car. Make a change from the bath. Grin

At least it'll soften the ground up a bit. Not that it'll make much difference because the grass is already to long and the crops are still in and I don't like Cows.

There we are then.  Moaning over.  Have a nice day.  Kiss Kiss

Got to admit we really needed it.  It stopped for a couple of hours this afternoon so I took dogs for  a walk and picked these when I got back.
Field mushrooms, now they wouldn't grow without a drop of the wet stuff. Not very big as they grow in the small area by the stable which is well grazed but very tasty.

Don't know about that Duggy. We had 12oz with crispy bacon, beans and scrambled eggs for tea last night and I gave my mate 15oz.
There's that many it looks like it's snowed.

I used to go out and pick field mushrooms with my parents, but got put off when we got a crop with lots of little tiny flies in them.

Haven't really seen any I would consider edible for ages - although when I worked at the crem there were funghi up there I've not seen before or since

(e.g pink wax caps, smokey wax caps)
