Hi All, just thought id show this pot mend with a large fragment of pot still in it.
Its like no other pot mend that I found, it looks like the pot has been purposely holed and filled as shown in photo. The hole filled is perfectly round, I wonder why? was the pot used for a different purpose at some point Huh its a strange one.
Plus its a good sign to find pot mends as its a clear sign of a early settlement, and you cant really call them a casual loss.
