Not 100% sure but pretty certain it can but before laying out money remember that the V4 chip only alters the audio Wink

I personally couldn't get on with them but their ability is out there on record for all to see, they are fantastic at finding silver hammies and if you detect a lot of arable then they will knock the socks off the competition. Not so great on raw power on pasture but it's about using the right tools for the job. Before the Deus came out, if you had gone to the likes of East Anglia with it's huge arable fields, you saw very little else than XP machines.

Yes, I'm confident it can be upgraded.

I could never get on with my Goldmaxx and preferred the G-Maxx (had 1 & 2).

With the Deus it's easy to know when you've a coke under the coil but it takes some learning with the Goldmaxx.
