The coin is from 1715 face value 2000 reis from D.Joao V (IOANNES 
V)minted at Baia (Brasil) and should have about 23mm diameter and 
weight around 5.38 gr.
Its priced on A.Gomes catalogue at 500 euros in fine condition , and 
700 euros in very fine.

hi firstly phil, it was found up england way, some of our  club members booked a detecting  weekend chalet, and this was one of my first finds of the day. hi rob thanks for the pictures and the information hope to see you saterday    Undecided steve
