You might laugh ,but being back on hoard site that i first found in 1978 with a young detectorist and the latest technology.....We still ffound it difficult in that first hour to tune into finding those awkward coins ....i have noticed this on other hoard sites...I tell newcommers to hobby not to worry about lack of hammered.....It will come when body and detector are tuned properly Smiley

I agree completely.  As with anything if your not tuned into the right frame of mind then you just end up half heartedly wandering along and missing things.
