Need some help, with my first detector i just charge the batterypack it came with , the new one has only got the pack you put your own batterys in , what shall i use preferbly long lasting and doesn't take to long to charge fully? Smiley preferbly a link of amazon.

Try ENELOOP. I use them in my Safari and find them long lasting, about 10 hours, though I haven't run them down to flat. If you haven't got a separate charger you can buy a 4 pack with charger at a reasonable price off Amazon. They're a bit more pricey than some but the up side is they last longer.

£13.59 each with charger so £27 which is pretty goood actually probably order them tomorrow then:)

They come fully charged, ready to go. Good thing about them as well is they don't run down if not used.
I bought a battery pod from Detecnicks and another 8 Eneloops so got one in use and one spare. Worked out a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the Minelab pack.

What you want is an Rnb ml2900 battery pack cost £100. But they last 40hours plus on a 2 hour charge.  That's what I use  Grin. No more battery changes while detecting

Hi Mathew, I've got an Energizer CHEUF universal charger with Energizer 2000mAH batteries
charge 4 at a time very quick. Been going well for couple of years no probs.
