You obviously haven't quite grasped VLF technology if you believe that a coil can go twice as deep Roll Eyes
No the SEF range is still a great range as is the coiltek WOT coil but any slight advancement in refining the returning signal is of benefit.
I notice you say that on the Tejon you thought the 12x10 widescan was the better coil and having used one I would "probably" agree if you were power balancing the machine as the Ultimate would just drive it crazy.

The customers may believe it will go twice as deep, its advertising to sell a product, that's just how it is.

The 10x12 wide scan works very well on the Tejon iv never had problems with the set up
Tesoro coil Tesoro machine makes sence.

People think the Tesoro machines are rubbish that's fine, I dont like the sound of minelabs but there great machines, at the end of the day its just what works for you.

Anyone who thinks Tesoros are rubbish hasn't used one, basic yes but very reliable and they don't call the Tejon the "Animal" for nothing.

your finding great stuff with that tesoro mate  Smiley i wish i never put my thoughts on the ultimate coil down now i just wanted to make people aware ultimate it aint but stock coils for me from now on oh apart from the sef  Wink
