decided to go to different  beach for an hour today as the sun came out at 3.30pm the beach looked OK when I checked it out  A while  ago( x3 months) but has been well detected over the years ( so I was told when I arrived ) by two others coming away who had been on the dry sand all day and had just  ring pulls  x2 decimal coins,,  I had to walk round for ages following the tide out before I managed to find some targets and they were mostly  deep these are the coin  finds over x 3 hrs detecting

I also had x9 fishing leads ,, these are the coins  x 3 old pennies x1 small coin badly damaged ,x2 ship half pennies x1 threepenny bit,, x4 decimals

Well done mate,It's suprising what you can find after other people have already
been there. The land that i found the letter opener and silver trinket on had a rally there a couple of years ago and according to the farmer had been worked by other detectorists a few years ago
as well,

Nice searching  Smiley any one of those could have been a nice chunky Victorian half-crown or even better a sovereign !!
