Be better suited to parks etc where the ground is pretty trashy compared to the Safari?

On the hunt for something to replace the Safari not for any reason other than it weights too much  Undecided

Oh Dusty you whimp.  I have a Safari and get on with it just fine. Did 4 hours strait swinging with it yesterday, Didn't find much but then I never do.
Must admit the new super coil that Geoff sells sounds a good idea. I don't think you'll beat the Safari, once you're used to it, but the new coil might help. Better than starting the learning curve all over again. Wink

I have an F75 and agree if the good stuffs there it will find it . I love the high pitched tone it gives when it does come across something.I have contemplated getting rid of it and trying a minelab I do also own a Deus which does seem to be a favourite with a lot of folks but I keep hearing you can't beat an explorer for depth on pasture with the right coil.

Got the F75 Black, excellent machine, very sensitive and deep, but not much good on the beach, so stick with your minelab Badger Wink  Did use it on a very iron infested site once, depth was a problem then as dug some VERY deep iron...
