Managed to get a few hours in with my son and pulled a few finds which i hope someone will identify. We also found quite a few bits of pottery, one of which is posted bottom left. The buckle top left seems to be pretty common here as its the third one in the past few months. The fret work item is the one which eludes me as we have had a few smaller items before but not on this field. The coin alas is degraded with the soil condition, as are most that have been found. The other is just to show how high up this site is.

Found out that the coin (which is bent) is a love token, so things were not too bad after all. Had many more bits and bobs, but these are the only ones i could wash off before the wife caught me using her tooth brush,,, why so picky i ask myself  Shocked
