No it's not just you, there are lots of posts across different forums from people who have broken their clip. It is a readily available part, probably for this very reason.
I would recommend to anybody to buy a second, even if it's only to keep in the bag for in car/on field charging, as without it any advantage that the Deus has is lost, as it just becomes a broomstick Wink

actually its easy to apply a charging voltage to the pins with a some bare wires from a charger wrapped round with a piece of duktape ..you get another  5v/1A  charger strip off the ends of the wires and wrap them round the pins with tape ,it works because i tested it myself.  Grin
make sure the polarity is correct .
you can keep a spare charger handy from Maplins or Poundland
or use the ciggy ligher plugin with the wires stripped back .

It's only the contact
For a quick fix
Use two small pins into the charger clip
And bend them out wards
Make sure they make contact showing the light is permantly on
It will work untill you get your new clip

The charging clips aren't that expensive.

If you get a second coil it's an idea to buy another so that you can charge both coils at the same time.

I haven't had any trouble with my two clips.

Good advice from Bob. Wink Jerry.
