Hi Doc can you help with this charles, can'nt seem to find it in spinx
the only thing i can come up with is that the shiel has a square top
were most seem to be oval. could it be ABERYSTWYTH MINT?

Hi db4.

I think Tower mint, Spink 2817 is a possibility. I can't make out the mintmark on the obverse, but on the reverse I think looks like mintmark star.
