Nihi nisi sub sole

« on: February 10, 2013, 11:00:14 AM »

Well, I almost didn't go out as it was a bit wet yesterday, but figured it was going to be (and is) wetter today, so took the chance.

I looked in a different place than normal, but somewhere I've had some modern milled before, and managed to winkle out my first milled gold coin a nice Viccy half sovereign from 1900 - highest denomination I've had off the farm before was a sixpence (found one of those too) Smiley

I am well chuffed Smiley - although the missus said ' I thought you were looking for earlier stuff than that.......'

Glad I made the effort
