Those of us who are lucky enough to have last years stubble still lying in the fields will appreciate this cold spell, as this will soften and rot it down, thus allowing easier detecting Grin with this in mind and as my detector must think I dont love it anymore due to lack of recent activity Cry I will be taking it out to blast the cobwebs of tomorrow even if and I mean even if we have a foot of snow I will let you know how a crazy fool gets on!!!!!!

I might have a go on some old stubble myself tomorrow if the wind dies down a bit. I've tried it a while ago but it was like going over a field of hedgehogs! With a bit of luck the stubble will have kept the worst of the frost out of the ground.
