First time out this year on Swansea  beach with my garrett Ace 250
Went for dry sand first in the dunes  (lots of nocturnal activity evident)
Found 15 Budweiser bottle tops , a nail and lots of foil and wire and my FIRST £1.00 coin  Grin

tried wet sand and got loads of false markers and lots of digging but no finds.

Returned to dry sand and found another Two pounds cash and many more bottle tops  Cry
Thouroughly enjoyed myself today and got a SunTanned face  to boot Huh Huh

Thanks for the advice  DWB will keep my eyes peeled , just practicing with the Garrett at the moment on the beach,
hope to get down west west wales soon doing both land and beach
Thinking of upgrading soon to the Garrett at pro international
will this be a suitable machine for land and beach
it is about my limit financially or is there a better machine for the same price.

I honestly wouldn't go down the AT-Pro route for beaches, land and fresh water it's fantastic for the price but it doesn't like salt water Undecided
