A friend I detect with from time to time was hunting at a old motel in this area today. He found this item 5 inches deep. I wish I could find something like this! Nothing like silver!

I dont know if its still the case but you could buy uncleaned Detector finds on Ebay and you could bid anonymously.
At one time youd never now who youd bump into at Abergaveny Market lol
Very Dodgy !

Ive bought Roman uncleaned coins coz im a collector and i like the unknown element of not knowning that you got untill there cleaned.
People who have seen my detector finds know i dont buy good stuff on the net my detector finds are mostly rubbish lol
