a trip over the bridge !!

out yesterday with ianjohn just to get over the w/w..to a farm in the gloucestershire area.
after a great first 2hrs on the normal green and bit and pieces mr john managed to find his first denarius and a chuft detectorist he was..and well deserved welldone stud..then it was my turn and found a lovely little badge which looks very much like the tudar rose of england.after another hr of detecting ian came over to me with a nice buckle not to early but still had the pin intact nice little find.and just before we packed up for the day i had what i came looking for. a hammered in my last hole of the day i think its a lizzy six-punce not in the best of condition but ive heard they all count.i only managed to take a few photo.s..as fast as we were finding the greens i was giving them away to an old woman in the cottage beside the farm house and i must say she was handing out the coffee and cake as fast also.you dont mind then a coffee for every 3 georgeans.lol.
