Hi, I'm Darren the pro for the club and wish to post this in order to say that the club is doing good things at the moment. Some good stuff is getting passed around at the monthly meetings. Should anyone local wish to attend, the club meet the first Wednesday of every month at Acton community centre at 730pm. Recent finds include a bronze age spear, axe head and sword. A friendly welcome assured.
Cheers and good luck all.
Daz.

There's Wrexham Metal Detecting Club and Wrexham Heritage Society and both need new members at the moment.

So have you got spaces for new members? I'd like to join a club as I'm from Wrexham.

Well Wrexham heritage soceity is still accepting members, try Roy Griffiths, chairman. Failing that, your nearest forum  is detecting shropshire, digs every 2 weeks. They have members in Liverpool and Ellesmere Shrops so you're not too far out if you can travel.

The Mold Historical Search Society website has been completely overhauled [was down for maintenance etc] and the key contacts have changed.

The Chairperson is now Vince Jones and the Secretary is Cameron Edwards.

The club website is now at www.mhss.org.uk

Meeting place remains at Mold Town Hall, Earl Road, Mold [every 2nd Friday of the month at 8.00pm].

Kind regards.
