''On it like Sonic''

Hi all

Well after not been on it for a couple of weeks i went to go and find a field that one of my customers said i could go in, and for love nor money could i find the one she described. So a slightly disheartened i started to drive home when i saw a guy propped up against his trailer outside a stables, one last stab i thought and asked him if he new of this field. ''Not got a F*****G clue lad'' was his exact reply!!!!after explaining my intentions and showing him my silver and gold he said i could have a go on his 10 acres of pasture!! of course i didnt decline. This particular field has the old Hereford to Ross road running through it he said, in my opinion it looks like a roman road with a prominant curve and maybe a ditch either side, time will tell!!

So after a couple of hours of wandering around i pulled up another bristol token, a lead maybe a weight and part of a brooch ?

Without seeing the brooch(?) item from the side I would say it was possibly a fragment of a Georgian buckle. The floral pattern is a common feature on these buckles.
