Some finds for your perusal from today. Got a real beauty of a bagseal.

Any ideas how to remove the very tightly wedged in stone, from the beehive?

Just a quick update, thanks to the expertise of Metalmickey and the Doc, i am happy to report that their recommendation worked and the stone has now been removed. I am so relieved not to have to resort to techony's advice!

The thimble has been through the wars, it looks as if sometime during its life, it was under a bonfire as one side is scorched. Piccies later
