Its not often I get to post in the finds forum, in fact this is the first time! I was early getting to work today and had 30 min. to kill. I decided to detect a park close to work. I got many coin sounds from my Safari but with my limited time I looked for a loud and clear signal. About 5 mln. into the hunt I got a 16 number on the screen and a icon showing a ring. I dug a plug into the nice turf and 4 inches down I saw a glimer of GOLD!. After knocking the dirt off the item I found a small GOLD ring! not a big one it fits on my pinkey finger but I got to do the happy dance for the first time!, I also found coins just about every where I looked. I plan to go back to this park and clean it out on my day off. I will post a photo of the ring tonight when I get home from work.
