i'm afraid it falls to me to inform you of the loss of another of our esteemed members...john williams passed away on monday july 30th....as we know, he had an operation to remove a brain tumour within the last year or so, unfortunately he developed a secondary tumour and succumbed last monday....i'm sure you will all want to send condolences to his wife penny and their family.....he will be sadly missed by us all.......i will post details of the funeral as soon as i have them........rip john.

I liked John fair play he was a nice guy, thought he had got over the illness, gutted  Embarrassed

Sorry to hear that sad news Byron - I met John at a rally last year, and as has been said, the word was that he had made a good recovery

Just heard about John Passing.
John was one of the 1st people id met when i joined Rare, a keen Photographer like myself and always there with friendly advice.
A Gentle man that always put you at ease in his presence, a true Gent

My thoughts are with Penny and family at this very sad time.

As you no my good friend JOHN47, past away last monday after being unwell for the last few years.
His funeral is at Thornhill .Cremitorium on August THE 14TH....Tuesday AT 2..OO..OCLK .
Then after at the Pontygwindy..Caerphilly.
