Great result Mike.It's surprising you didn't find any of the other usual bits of Roman 'detritus' seeing as you found 11 coins.

had a fibula frag last week from the same field plus some very old white lead bits , i think this area may have been detected before and the more easily found larger items may have been cleaned out , these coins where quite deep and gave faint signals , ihad to work ultra slow so as not to miss the tiny low tones , im sure there will be a few more there if i go slowly
