I did indeed Byron, a small bar of pure gold, and as you can see not many machines will find it, or will only find it when they are an inch away. Not very encouraging really, when these machine are sold as gold hunters.I've even tried a CS 4PI on it, nothing not even a blip! Roll Eyes

Most gold items found are either mixed with silver so are not pure gold, or offer a larger target like a coin.
