Nice one John, It'll be good to hear how it does. I'm especially interested in the "tone shift" Wink

Dylan, So whats new. My M6 and The Safari pick up the old copper pipes under our concrete floors, and they're covered in gunk and tiles.

Part 1 of a 'New Product Review' on the CTX 3030 in the July issue of Treasure Hunting magazine. The trouble is the review is by Des Dunne,Minelab's main man,so it can hardly be taken as unbiased.

If he can find something with the ctx it would be a good machine. He is a nice guy but he can't detect for s..t. They even scattered new 2p's on a rally yes the steel core ones.
Did not realise the problem in finding them only 2 got returned out of 40, I wonder why.
Early signs are Etrac stays ctx is waterproof heavier version with a slight few bonus features. Too expensive for what it can do.
