There is one other recorded on PAS, that one was found at Hampton Lovett in Worcestershire. Unfortunately there is no picture but the details sound identical.

Great find Falcon. I showed the photo to Brian Read today. His opinion is that it is Late Iron Age/Roman but with a Celticised head. He also considers it a cracking find.

What detector are you using Falcon? If it is a Minelab why not enter your find in their Find of the Month competition. Their first prize is a £250 voucher plus a bag of goodies. I reckon you would stand a great chance of winning.
