Couldnt sleep last night so took myself of to Barry Island for a bit of
night time detecting and i have never seen Barry in such a state!!
From high tide line to beach walls a mass of rubbish everywhere
cans/bottles bottle tops/takeaways and general flotsam.
Every swing of the detector you hit a used can!!!
Looked like Silent Valley Waste Tip lol.
But despite that manged a few bits...Stainless steel ring/Silver ring/Small pendant/Joey/Dosh.....PaulB.

Cheers Ray thanks when i got there at 2am!! Shocked found one guy detecting from Barry been there since 7-30pm left at 2-30am
He told me there were loads of detector users on beach from about 5pm yesterday but the beach now has a carpet down to high tide line
of all sorts of rubbish looked a right mess...cheers PaulB. Cool

Hiya Mikey you would have been proud of me lol strutting my stuff between 2-5am with
me light on me head seemed to attract all those going home from a night on the shandy lol
but all were a friendly bunch and got the "valleys" handshake from most of em lol.
Was a really fine mild night with a little sea breeze pity about the state of the beach though.
