Hi Alan

Its to celebrate me getting my bike back on the road after over a year stuck in my garage

Suzuki Hayabusa gsx1300r is the fastest Production bike in the world
The name Hayabusa translates directly from the Japanese as Peregrine Falcon, The bird is said to be capable of speeds of over 200 mph  — and predator of the common blackbird.

When introduced in 1999, it overtook the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird as the fastest production motorcycle. The first generation of the Hayabusa was called the GSX1300R and was powered by a 1299 cc motor It remained substantially unchanged up through the 2007 model year.

The motorcycle in stock form was capable of the following performance:

1/4 mile  9.77 seconds @ 147.7 mph
0–60 mph: 2.47 seconds
0–100 mph: 4.91 seconds
0–125 mph: 6.91 seconds
0–150 mph: 9.88 seconds
0–180 mph: 15.62 seconds
Top speed: 200.6 mph
The Speedometer of the 1999-2000 Hayabusa showed 220 MPH on the gauge in stock form.(2001+ Versions were changed to 185 MPH due to self imposed restrictions.)
1 gear: 90 mph 2 gear: 112 mph 3 gear: 145 mph 4 gear: 160 mph 5 gear: 175 mph 6 gear: 200 mph

To be honest ive only done 170mph odd on it  it feels like youve left your eyeballs behind  lol

Ive started posting on the UK Hayabusa and Busa.org forums and some nuts on there that have fitted turbo and superchargers to them  Shocked as if 200mph isnt fast enough.
I think i,ll leave that up to the young Guns

People into bikes have got a name for the Hayabusa .....THE WIDOW MAKER  Cry

I,ll take you for a spin when you come for the G house if you like  lol
