Target Pinpointing technique for DD Coils like the Garret

I came across these two target sizing and pinpointing tutorials which I thought might be useful for those that are just starting out and haven't practiced the black art of pinpointing. Judging by the size of some of the holes I saw on recent rallies there are some seasoned detectorists who might benefit  also 

They are produced by Garret  and feature  the Garrett  Metal detectors with the 11"x8" DD coils (double D shape) but the general  techniques and principles are equally applicable to other coil types and other  makes of detectors .
