I should be out on the fields right now, if it wasn't for Bl**dy internet banking Roll Eyes Why o' why can't they do the simple things properly!!! Now I've got to go into town first and lose another hours 'tecting time. Maybe I should send them a bill. </RANT OFF>

Anyway, as soon as the rain stopped yesterday, we were able to get back out onto the field and it was remarkable unclaggy  Smiley (Apart from around the impromptu river that was flowing down the middle). Up by where we had uncovered a particulary dense area of musket balls previously, that are now with the FLO for discussion with the local battlefields group, a tiny little silver popped up covered in a nice layer of the sticky stuff. Through the dirt we could see a design around the edge that temptingly reminded me of the back of a porcupine and got me to thinking that this might be my first ever sceat  Shocked

Handyman was to get a flashback 5 minutes later and loudly pronounced that it was a probably a commonwealth. So with curiosity getting the better of me, it was off to the new waterflow for a hammie-bath.

He was right...

After me Geoff: "1", "2", "3", "4", "5" ...  Grin
